Do you offer lip waxing?

Due to the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, neither location will be offering lip or chin services. This is to ensure that all clientele will be wearing a mask while inside the salon.  In addition, many customers are prone to sneezing while getting upper lip services done as it is close to the lip - putting staff at risk if they are to offer these services. 

We ask that you respect this regulations. 

 

Does waxing hurt?

Everyone has a different scale of pain tolerance. What is painful for one may not bother the other. If you are worried about managing sensitivity, we recommend taking ibuprofen or a mild pain killer roughly 30 minutes before your appointment to help maximize your comfort. However, this is not required. Waxing more frequently will help with sensitivity as hair grows back finer and sparser.

 

Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?

Your hair won’t grow back thicker and darker after waxing. Hair is removed from the root, causing it to grow back softer and finer over time. Some clientele may even see a decrease in growth of hair, but this experience varies per person. 

 

Can someone go into the treatment room with me?

Only the client and the service provider are allowed in the treatment room during an appointment in order to provide the best experience. However, for clients under the age of 15, we invite a parent or guardian to be on hand.

 

How long can I expect my wax to last?

You will be free from hair for a minimum of 1-2 weeks following your waxing appointment.

 

Can I get waxed if I am taking any kind of medication?

Please consult with your physician regarding any medications and how it may affect your waxing experience. Also, please let your technicians know immediately if you are on any medications. Waxing should never be done on clients taking Accutane and is not recommended for clients taking Retin A, Renova, Differin, or other types of skin thinning acne medications.

 

Is gratitude included in the service?

Gratitude is not included in the price of the service. Gratitude cannot be given using gift certificates or any store credit. 

If you have a membership, gratitude is not included in the membership and it is not included in the discounts provided by the membership. Points gained with membership cannot be applied to gratitude given to the technicians. 

Technicians greatly appreciate all gratitude given to them! 

Do you offer any hair services?

Sadly, we had to make the difficult decision of closing the hair section. We no longer offer any hair services, including haircuts, hair coloring, and blowouts. We thank all of our loyal customers for sticking with us for so long and hope to see you in the salon for any threading or waxing services.
